Elza's Home Store (aka Elza's TV) was established
in 1953 by Elza and Mae Dravenstott. The business, first located
on the Dravenstotts' front porch, provided sales and service for
all makes of televisions and appliances. The business grew quickly
as word of its excellent customer service spread. The store moved
into its present-day location at 924 Union Street in the 1970's.
